City Council Candidate Filing Appointments Now Available for Nov. 3, 2026, General Election
Post Date:06/25/2026 7:57 PMAppointment slots for the upcoming November 3, 2026, General Election nomination period are now open. The official nomination period begins on Monday, July 13, 2026, and closes on Friday, August 7, 2026.
All prospective candidates are required to schedule an in person appointment with the City Clerk’s Office to receive or file nomination papers. Before an appointment can be set, the City Clerk’s Office will verify your district information with the Alameda County Registrar of Voters based on your residential address.
