As the City’s Human Resources Director, Tina Gallegos is in charge of finding and retaining top-notch talent for the City. In practice, that means Tina is responsible for Fremont’s Recruitment, Classification, Payroll, Benefits, and Labor Relations functions. Along with the HR team, she works to build and support our a high performance organization so that Fremont can continue to serve the community in innovative ways.

Tina is a UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Architecture and City Planning and, prior to joining Fremont, Tina worked as a City Planner, Assistant to the City Manager and HR Manager with the City of San Pablo.
