Meaning
The City of Fremont’s logo depicts the distinctive, picturesque hills that can be seen prominently throughout the Fremont community. The tallest point in the logo is Mission Peak and the hills, and the text is in City of Fremont blue and green.
Approved Usage
You must receive approval from the City of Fremont Communications team before using the City’s logo in printed materials, websites, signage, vehicles, advertisements, etc. For inquiries and questions and to receive high-resolution files of the logo, please contact City of Fremont Communications Manager Cheryl Golden by email.
Spacing
The logo should always be surrounded by a specific amount of space known as the “area of isolation.” There MUST be at least the amount of space equal to the height of one “mountain’ (symbol) around the logo. Please see below:
This ensures that the logo is not overpowered by any other graphical elements in close proximity and that the proportional space around the logo maintains its integrity.
Logo Guidelines
There are six acceptable formats for the City of Fremont logo, as shown below.
Misuse of the Logo
A consistent and recognizable logo or visual identity is key to promoting a sense of unity and community, a common mission, and a positive overall image. Do not alter the logo in any way as shown in the examples below.
- The logo is only to be reproduced in the colors shown above. Do not mix and match the colors above as shown below.
- Do not change the typeface of the logo. The Adobe Utopia family is the primary typeface for City of Fremont applications.
- Do not print logo over colors, photos without approval from the city.
- Do not change the arrangement of the logo elements.
- Do not place the logo in a bounding shape.
- Do not stretch the logo horizontally, vertically or resize any part of the logo individually. Logo proportions must be maintained.
