The After School Academy (ASA) provides your child with an open space to make social connections while still providing academic assistance and enriching activities. Students are given the opportunity to socialize and connect with our team and their peers. ASA supports students and families every school day immediately after school until 6pm. It is our goal that students improve socially, emotionally, and academically through community, academic, recreation, and enrichment activities.
Enrichment activities may include STEM, social and emotional learning, visual and performing arts, music, physical activity, health promotion, general recreation, global learning, career awareness, community service learning, and other youth development activities based on students’ needs and interests.
Child must be enrolled in grades 1st though 6th at Brier, Cabrillo, or Grimmer to register for After School Academy.
Students eligible for meal assistance through Fremont Unified School District - Child Nutrition Services (CNS) are eligible to have program fees waived. A letter from the District must be attached to the ASA application to have the program fee waived. Because all students receive free meals, an Alternative Income Form must be completed and approved to qualify for the ASA fee waiver.
