About

The Mobility Commission advises the City on transportation planning, safety, and mobility. The commission promotes safe, efficient, and sustainable travel for everyone in Fremont.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of transportation plans such as the Mobility Action Plan and related efforts on traffic safety, congestion management, and school access.
Advocate for Fremont’s transportation priorities with regional agencies and funding partners.
Gives people a place to share ideas about transportation, teaches the public about traffic safety and encourages using other ways to travel, like biking or walking.
Provide input on new and updated transportation policies, plans, and projects.

Meetings

Quarterly on the third Wednesday on the months of March, June, September, and December. Other meetings include the annual work session with City Council and the annual Mobility Summit.
Regular meetings start at 7:00pm, in the Niles Conference Room, Development Services Center
