Hours and Admission:

The Nature Learning Center is open to the public admission-free most third Saturdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please note that inclement weather can cancel these openings. 

Age Requirement:

All ages are welcome at our facility. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while visiting the Nature Learning Center during public hours. 

Group Visits:

Small groups are welcome to visit during public hours for self-guided exploration. If you plan on bringing a group of more than 12, please contact us and let us know ahead of time to make sure we can accommodate. 

We occasionally host presentations and other environmentally-focused events at the Nature Learning Center.

Our garden is maintained primarily through organized volunteer workdays. We encourage interested parties to sign up early as space is limited.

The Nature Learning Center is home to several recreation programs, including interpretive activities led by Park Rangers and Junior Ranger camps.

The City's Environmental Services Division is proud to offer FREE field trips to Fremont-based 2nd and 3rd grade classes, hosted on site at the Nature Learning Center.
