The Fremont Fire Department is one of 124 Metropolitan Medical Response System Cities nationwide with enhanced emergency triage for a mass casualty event or public health emergency. We also maintain an innovative and cutting-edge :

• Paramedic program
• Elite Special Operations Task Force
• Community disaster preparedness training
• State-certified rescue team at the heavy level
• Hazardous materials management services (over 1,000 facilities)
• Urban Search and Rescue services with California Task Force 4
