 2025 FFD Accomplishments and Highlights:

  • 14th Fire Company:
    • We activated our 14th fire Company.
    • Expansion enhances our operational capacity and reflects years of strategic planning.
    • Represents our focused investment in public safety.
  • Phoenix G2 Station Alerting System: 
    • First Fire Department / agency in Alameda County to transition to the System.
    • Improves dispatch efficiency and situational awareness significantly.
  • Emergency Management:
    • Played a crucial role throughout the year, supporting community resilience through:
      • Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training
      • Incident Command System (ICS)/ Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) education
      • Emergency Operations Center readiness.
  • Fire Inspections conducted:
    • 1067 Fire Prevention and Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) Inspections.
    • 1056 Hazardous Materials Inspections.
