The Fremont Fire Department offers community members opportunities for career / personal development and to engage in community service.

Volunteer Position(s) requirements:
- Applicant requirements:
- Possess a Valid Class C Drivers License with a clean record.
- Must be 18 years old or over.
- Must currently live within 20 miles of Fremont.
- Must be in satisfactory medical condition.
- Must not have felony convictions.
- Must not have had misdemeanor convictions within the last 3 years.
- Must be High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must undergo a thorough background check and fingerprinting clearance.
- Wear a uniform when on volunteer assignment / scene of calls.
- Assignment Overview:
- Use technology for communication, navigation, alerting, etc.
- Participate in community and department events.
- Respond to 'call-outs' regularly.
- Follow directions while working near emergency scenes.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Submit monthly timesheets.
Volunteer Application:
To volunteer with the Fremont Fire Department, complete a Volunteer Application.
Submit completed form to Fremont Fire Department.
