Senior Peer Counseling Seeking New Volunteers

Are you 50 or older and looking for a meaningful way to support others? The Tri-Cities Senior Peer Counseling Program is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide one-on-one emotional support to older adults in our community who may be experiencing loneliness, grief, isolation, or major life transitions.

No formal education is required. Your life experience is what matters most. Volunteers will receive in-person training to prepare for this rewarding role.

Our counselors reflect the diversity of our community and speak many languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, Vietnamese, Punjabi, and others.

To learn more, call the Senior Infoline at 510- 574-2041 or email your questions.

The next training session will be scheduled for the fall. Check back for updates.
