The Human Services Department accepts financial contributions online via its secure donation form in support of its work. By selecting "Human Services General" your gift will be applied where it is needed most. If you prefer, you can designate your donation for a specific division or program.

The City offers different ways for the community to help our unhoused neighbors and the programs and services that support them. Visit our How to Help page to learn more. 

Donations also can be made by mailing your check made out to the City of Fremont Human Services Department to: Human Services Department, Attn:  Donations, 3300 Capitol Ave, Building B, Fremont, CA 94538.

Giving Hope 2025 was a great success! 

• 312 wish lists were fulfilled across all Human Services Programs 
• 40 beloved pet companions had their holiday wishes come true 
• $6,825 was donated to cover unsponsored wish lists and support our Urgent Needs Fund

Youth Overcoming provides funds for clients of Youth and Family Services to attend camps and classes that are therapeutic as part of their individual mental health treatment plans but are otherwise unaffordable for their families. 

You can make an online donation on the online donation form. Select "other" and write in "Youth Overcoming."

Commissions and Advisory Boards advise the City Council and identify issues before the Council makes decisions. Advisory body members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of a majority of the Council.
