Network Design, Implementation, and Maintenance

Network infrastructure uses software and hardware to facilitate communication across the City's network. The network is the foundation that enables data to flow between users, applications, services, and the internet.

The components of the City's network infrastructure include ethernet and fiber cabling, switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and Wi-Fi access points.

These free Wi-Fi connected locations provide safe places for people to access the Internet and are are part of a Comcast plan to support community-organization-based WiFi throughout the country.
