About the Project

The project involves the demolition and replacement of the aging wooden bridge spanning the seasonal brook in Central Park. The new bridge will be constructed using durable materials, including a concrete base and weathering steel railings, to reduce long-term maintenance needs and extend the structure's lifespan. Additionally, the bridge will be widened to 12 feet to accommodate light-duty vehicles, enhancing accessibility for police, emergency services, and maintenance crews within the park.
