About the Project

The 5-acre Buena Vista Neighborhood Park, with its panhandle shaped configuration, is located on the east side of Fremont along Mission Boulevard in the Kimber Gomes neighborhood. 

The Buena Vista Neighborhood Park renovation project includes the installation of a meandering ADA-accessible walking path, extending from the Mission Boulevard panhandle and encircling the main body of the park. The new pathway, with four new ADA accessible ramps at strategic locations, will provide nearly 1/2 of a mile of uninterrupted walking path, enabling park users to traverse the entire park. 

Additionally, the playground will be receiving an upgrade with new modern play area structures with increased play value and accessibility. Renovation of the existing well is also included in the plan for increased water efficiency.
