The project general description consist of improvements in the area between Central Park's Baseball Field Complex and the walkway at the north end of Lake Elizabeth.  Improvements include installation of exercise equipment area with a fitness rig, benches, drinking fountains and trash receptacles and upgrading of nearby existing pathways of gravel or asphalt to concrete.  

Timeline

Construction began in November 2024 and the project opened to the public on August 15, 2025. The project was completed September 2025.
