About the Project

The project will improve pedestrian access and circulation to park facilities, and address non-accessible pathways, incomplete paths of travel and degrading pathways. The project will provide direct access from the Fremont Community Center (FCC) to the main perimeter pathway from the Band Pavilion, complete the path of travel from the FCC to the Lions Picnic Area, and complete the path of travel from the Senior Center to the Lions Picnic Area and adjacent park facilities. Other improvements include replacing an existing 10' wide pathway near the Lions Picnic Area, and installation of retaining walls, 6" concrete curbs, a removable bollard, and park and interpretive signage re-installation.
