The City's Legislative Affairs program aims to provide direction to staff and the City's legislative advocates in Sacramento and Washington D.C. The program serves as a basis for action regarding any piece of federal or state legislation, funding opportunity, and policy initiatives, and informs interested parties of the City's stances on any pieces of legislation.
The City of Fremont’s Legislative Affairs Program works closely with elected representatives and partnerships at the Regional, State and Federal level.
